Stockholm Design Week was first held back in 2002, since then is has developed into one of the most important event dedicated to Scandinavian design. From architects, designers and journalists, everyone who is a little bit interested in Scandinavian design must visit the fair at least one time.
Stockholm Design Week takes place annually, over the course of one week. This year took place between 6 – 12 February. Stockholm Design Week means meetings, launches, dinner parties, socialising, galleries, museums and showrooms visits, vernissage cocktails.
Scandinavian design is nowadays one of the biggest sources of inspirations when it comes to designing an interior. Everyone loves its furniture and lightning styles, its textile products, its minimalism and quality.
Today, the event attracts around 40.000 visitors from 60 countries, 1100 media representatives and 700 companies that exhibit their furniture, lightning and textile products.
